If you arrive by plane

All the information regarding how to get to/from the airport to/from the city centre is available here: https://www.aena.es/en/malaga-costa-del-sol/getting-there/car.html

If you arrive by train/bus

The bus and train stations are very close from each other (the bus station is in front of the side exit of the train station), they are at a 20-minute walk from the city centre. The train station, Málaga María Zambrano, is well connected to numerous city buses (lines 1, 3, 10, 16, 19, 24, 27 and C2) and is located just 50 metres from Malaga bus station. It also has an underground stop, El Perchel, 20 metres away, as part of lines 1 (red) and 2 (blue), so getting around from María Zambrano station is very easy.
