ASYRAS is pleased to announce the 10th ASYRAS Conference, under the title Bridges across Academia: On Sharing Knowledge, which will take place at the University of Murcia, 21st – 23rd May 2025. The conference is intended as a scientific meeting where early-career specialists in English Studies can present the results of their current research from a variety of perspectives. The conference will count on the following confirmed keynote speakers: Dr Juan Francisco Belmonte Ávila (University of Murcia), Dr Pascual Cantos Gómez (University of Murcia), and Dr Laura Monrós Gaspar (University of Valencia).
Our workshop will be carried out on the first day of the event. This workshop aims to provide young and potential researchers of English Studies with tools to help them advance in their academic careers, covering essential aspects such as academic writing, oral skills, and guidance on how to face the publishing process.
The conference will be arranged in thematic sessions and consist of 20-minute paper presentations followed by a 10-minute discussion. Proposals will undergo peer review by specialists in the different fields of knowledge. We will consider proposals from any field related to Anglophone Studies, ascribed but not limited to the following areas:

- Acquisition and teaching of First, Second and Foreign Languages

- Comparative literature

Abstracts between 250 and 300 words (excluding references) should be submitted before January 31st, 2025, through this form. Abstracts should follow this template.
